VOLUME SEVEN is the 7th volume of Phantom Busters, written and illsustrated by Neo Shoco.
Volume Synopsis
The school festival is coming up, and the Busters get a client request to form a band! Rehearsals are underway when Mogari is suddenly dragged back to Mount Shishikuno and forced to go through a grueling trial to best his bloodthirsty instructor. Tensions rise as Zaki, Koreshiki, and Tamon are left in distress about the fate of their friend... Will all four Phantom Busters be able to stand on stage together?!
Cover and Volume Illustration
The front cover features a turquoise background with the title logo in pink and white at the center. The author's name is located directly above the logo to the left in white lettering. In the top-left corner, the volume number appears in black inside a pink flame. The back cover maintains the turquoise base and integrates decorative black and pink flames.
In the foreground of the cover, Ren is shown in a combat stance unsheathing his tanto; behind him, a shirtless Mogari holds a red electric guitar, while a partial close-up of Mikabane's face is visible in the background. The back cover depicts the same image of Mogari with the guitar in grayscale, framed by a black flame. The spine repeats Ren's image against a pink background.
The internal illustration portrays the four protagonists in formal attire (suits and blazers) seated on a red sofa. Eugene holds a vintage telephone, Mogari a sandwich, Kaoru a drink, and Kotaro a Chinese takeout box with chopsticks. Jomaru is included wearing sunglasses and a small checkered jacket, with several printed documents falling around the scene.
